5/1/2023 0 Comments Perfect dark controlsLet's not turn our backs to the Gears of Wars and Call of Duties that we so enjoy, now. These two games have what many modern games lack: variety. I imagine this is why people clamor for games like Perfect Dark and GoldenEye again. You are handed several individual objectives, and the higher the difficulty level, the more objectives you have to accomplish. In a decade where most shooting results in going from Point A to Point B with a machine gun, Perfect Dark is retroactively refreshing, where the actual shooting is just a part of the big picture. The answer is that is holds up surprisingly well. The big question regarding Perfect Dark is how it plays in 2010. Agent Dark has a generous supply of guns and gadgets at her disposal, ranging from your basic pistol to an alien equivalent of an assault rifle to, my favorite, a rifle in the shape of a laptop computer. The player controls her through a series of missions that spells out the potential end of modern civilization as we know it unless our spunky heroine comes through with the help of an ancient alien race in close to 20 missions across nine chapters. Hop off of the lift after you dock and take out the remaining gliders before heading for the exit door.ĭark Zero Guide feedback Give us feedback! Walkthrough. The protagonist is Joanna Dark, codenamed "Perfect Dark," a young and fiery agent of the Carrington Institute who specializes in espionage and helps the institute keep a step ahead of their rivals: DataDyne, a defense contracting corporation. A nasty gliding enemy will attack you once you've reached the lift, so kill him as he descends to attack you. With everyone dead, shoot the explosive crates up ahead to the left to make their until little self-made fort go sky high. Get prepared to rock them by taking cover behind the crates and popping out to blast them away. There are tons of dangers out here, with lots of solo enemy units to take you out. Follow the guy in the suit along the floor to reach the elevator. In the next big room, endless amounts of spiders pop out of the pipe along the ceiling. Shoot the spider off of the keypad and open the door. Defeat the spiders at his feet and escort the scientists to safety. Shoot every last one of them off of the glass, all around it, and the man will come out and open up the door for you. You'll find a glass tank where a man is hiding from the robotic spiders. Once you awaken, head straight and go through the left door. Once you're in range, press the Right Bumper to make it go "kaboom!" Head straight ahead and you'll find that large CPU tower. Look up in the black tunnel to find the circuit, so shock it and drop down once again. Shock them with the Right Trigger and drop down twice. Look to the left and right to find circuits caged. Using this gadget, head around the bend to the left and go through the small black tunnel. This may seem a little confusing at first, but you will quickly get used to it. Click the puzzle whenever it hovers over the blue portions to succeed in unlocking the door. Grab their ammo and go to the door to use the datathief on the keypad. Take them out from this covered stance (preferably once they're reloading their weapons or something of the sort). You'll be able to see over the railing to witness two enemies conspiring below. Go to the barricade and press the A button to take cover. Pop a few rounds into it to destroy it, allowing you to enter the once-concealed doorway. You'll be glaring from around the corner at the enemy camera. In the next room, stand in the white circle and press the A button to lean against the wall. Consecutively dive three times straight ahead to completely avoid the turret fire. Walk through and get ready to dodge consistently with the Left Bumper button. Walk up the ledge and bash the crates by performing melee attacks while viewing them. Walk through the doorway to the left and duck under the laser detector. Start your super-spy mission off by popping the spiderbot that is keeping the door locked. Everything referred in this guide is based around the default control settings. NOTE: You will have to learn your controls for this first mission.
